Passes can be checked out for:

• Maine State Parks (FREE Day Pass up to a 17 passenger vehicle)
• Children's Museum + Theatre of Maine (discounted fare)
• Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (FREE 2 Adults + Children)

Kayaks & Canoes

Kayaks and Canoes kept at the New Gloucester Fairgrounds can be "checked out" for use at the Royal River Reservoir. Stop by the library with a valid ID to get access.

Lobby Service

To reserve a title for pickup in the lobby, visit our online catalog and log on using your library card number and password. If you need your library card number, password, or any other assistance please call us at (207) 926-4840.

Homebound Delivery

To sign up for Homebound service, all you have to do is call the library at (207) 926-4840 or email: nglibrary@newgloucester.com let us know you are interested in this service.

Any New Gloucester resident who is homebound qualifies for this program. You do not need to be permanently homebound to use this service. If you are home after a surgery or other illness, a temporary delivery service can be arranged.

After that, you can select books using the library's online catalog. Then just sit back and wait for the books to be delivered to your door.
